Founded in Tirupati in 1980, PLR Group began its journey executing civil contracts across Construction, Irrigation, Roads, and Railways. By 1995-96, the company had diversified into mining operations, expanding its presence in the construction and mining services sectors. Over the past two decades, PLR has built a strong reputation and expertise in constructing National Highways, State Highways, and various ancillary projects.
Today, PLR manages projects worth ₹25,000 million for the Government of India, with a consistent annual turnover exceeding ₹2,200 million over the last three years and surpassing ₹2,500 million in 2011-12.
Global Presence and DiversificationPLR has expanded its footprint internationally with the establishment of PLR Projects - Zambia Ltd. and PLR Projects - Tanzania Ltd. The company is also venturing into new sectors, including the setup of a Ferro Alloy Plant in Zambia.
Additionally, PLR Foods represents the group’s foray into the dynamic food processing market.
Sivasakthi DairyWith over 20 years of experience, Sivasakthi Dairy processes 50,000 liters of milk daily, supplying fresh milk in sachets to metro cities like Chennai and Bengaluru. Equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, the dairy is undergoing capacity expansion and modernization to include aseptic milk packaging, ensuring longer shelf life and better quality.
PLR Food ProductsEstablished in 2011, PLR Food Products commenced commercial production in 2013, specializing in aseptically packed fruit juices for export to global markets. In August 2022, PLR Foods expanded its portfolio by venturing into Frozen Foods, adhering to the globally recognized BRC (British Retail Consortium) Standards for food safety and quality.
The company operates under the leadership of Mr. Sudhir Reddy, Managing Director and a member of the PLR family, supported by a team of expert food technologists and food science professionals.
